I will truly miss you.
I depended on you more than I realized. There was never a time that I called that you didn't come to me. You were always there for me, us, and I regret that I took you for granted. You helped anybody that needed it. One of the last times I seen you, you came by and asked if I had any clothes to get rid of because you'd seen a homeless woman and her children in Walgreen's and you spent that day getting things together before taking them to her the next day.
You had such a heart of gold, the best advice, always a hug, smile and "I love you baby". I never, ever thought about you leaving us because we all depended on you. You were the one we turned to and now we're lost. We're left with a void that will never be filled, broken hearts and confusion.
But I'm so very thankful that we had you for as long as we did. I wouldn't change that time together. I love you Gloria and thank you for everything.

Gloria and I used to be best friend when we were teenagers. I had not seen her in years until a few months ago. I am glad I had that opportunity. Prayers for her family.
