Although Eva was my cousin, I knew her as Aunt Eva my whole life. I was shocked when I heard what happened. We were never super close but, she was an amazing person. I’ll never forget her smile or her laugh. She was the most positive person I ever met, even though, she went through a lot during her lifetime. My Nanna who Eva referred to as Aunt Bobbie, thought the world of Eva. They used to talk on the phone all the time. My hope is that Eva is up in heaven now with her Mom(Juanita), my Nanna(Bobbie Hatfield), her son and The rest of the family who are no longer with us - having a wonderful time. No pain, no sorrow, no sickness.. just LOVE & HAPPINESS. I am saddened by her loss but overjoyed to know that she finally made it home.

We used to have family reunions at Levi Jackson State Park when I was a kid. Although, these were my first memories of her, they stick out the most in my mind. She was always so happy, loving, generous & of course, knew how to cook some good food!

I just wanna send my deepest sympathies and condolences to her immediate family & let you know that she will always be remembered. Her legacy still remains!

Eva Taylor was the most kindest woman I ever had the pleasure of knowing. Heaven sure did gain an angel. But she will surely be missed

I have known Eva for almost 40 yrs. We have had a small quilt group since mid-80's. We would talk and laugh and catch up on news on what had been going on since we had last seen each other. But, we got very little quilting done. We laughed about that too. Even now, I keep hearing her laugh in my head and my heart. And I know that I will never forget that laugh. I miss you already, Eva. When we would talk on the phone we couldn't talk fast enough trying to get everything said because we were both having a lot of health problems, we would laugh about that too. You would say that I was your best friend, and that you loved to talk about Jesus with me. And we would talk about how long we had known each other, and we would laugh about that too. You have been a joy to know, Eva. I love you , I miss you, and I will keep laughing, and someday when I get to heaven, we're going to laugh our heads off.

I was blessed to have met her when I worked in the Medical Arts bldg drawing blood. To meet her was to fall in love with such a wonderful new friend. I know your body was tired and Heaven has gained a wonderful person. A witness for the Lord here on earth she has claimed her reward from all her hard work for Him.

I went to school with Eva Cheryl at Lone Jack. She was a grade above me, so we weren’t close, but I remember how pretty and how sweet she was. I am so sorry to learn of her passing, and my prayers are with her family. ... Carolyn Wilson Caudill
