Cecil “Blue Boy” Asher 71, of Arjay, passed away on Wednesday, March 28, 2012, at Middlesboro ARH. He was born in Beverly, KY on March 16, 1941, a son of the late Alex and Alice Bromitt Asher. He was a member of the Green Camp Pentecostal Church and had worked as a Carpenter and he loved to fish.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by five brothers and one sister.
Survivors include his wife of 46 years Roberta Joffe Asher of Arjay, KY, daughter Becky and husband Brandon Bowman of Bloomfield, KY; son Phillip Asher of Arjay, KY; grandchildren Sydney Bowman and Jake Smith; six brothers and three sisters; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
