Evelyn Kay Asher, 51 of Pineville KY, passed away at her home on February 13, 2011. She was born in Lima, OH on May 30, 1959 to the late Dave and Iva Underwood. She had been a homemaker.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her brother David Underwood, Jr.
She is survived by her husband Ray Asher; sons Danny Asher of Lexington, KY, Jeremiah Asher of Tan Yard Hill and Jacob Slusher of Tan Yard Hill; daughters Tiffany Asher of Tan Yard Hill, Crystal Asher of Corbin, KY, Desiare Asher of Tan Yard Hill, Jennifer Gibson of Tan Yard Hill and Mary Rachel Gibson of Pineville, KY; sisters Shelia Houston of Bledsoe, KY and Brenda Carey of Pineville, KY.
Funeral services will be 12 Noon Wednesday February 16, 2011 at the Brooks-Durham Funeral Home with Rev. Millard Danny Robbins; Pallbearers will be family and friends; Burial will follow in Asher Cemetery at Red Bird, Ky.
The Family will receive friends from 6p.m. until 9 p.m. Tuesday February 15, 2011 at the Brooks-Durham Funeral Home. The Brooks-Durham Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements and is honored to be serving the Asher family.
