Jerry Burnett age 69 of Ewing, VA passed away on March 3, 2014. He was born June 30, 1944 in Pineville, KY the son of the late McKinley Burnett and Amanda Smith Burnett. He had been a Coal Miner.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by sons Jeremy Burnett and Nathan Wade Burnett; brothers Roseman, Beige, Charles, Herman, Charles C. and Gary; sister Virginia.
Survivors include his wife Kathryn Tharp Burnett of Ewing, VA; children Lance (Tonya) Burnett, Danny Lee (Sheila) Tharp, Jerry Lee Burnett, Barbara Joyce Burnett, Kenny Burnett and Lori Jean Tharp; sister Sudie Brock; brother Leroy Burnett; grandchildren Luwanna (Bill) Callebs, Jordan Eugene Burnett, Shelby McKenzie Burnett, Kamryn Reese Burnett and Payton Lance Burnett; step granddaughter Tegan (Zack) Hendrickson; Special thanks to the nurses at Davity Dialysis Center; A host of nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.
