Jerry Collins

In loving memory of Jerry Lee Collins age 53 of La Mesa, California passed away October 17, 2018 in Houston, Texas. He was born in Chicago, IL on March 30, 1965 to Roberta Leath Collins and the late John E. Collins. Jerry was the Assistant Director Quality and Utilization Management at The University of San Diego Health. Jerry was also in the US Navy. Jerry was a true treasure and loved by all who knew him, he will be greatly missed.

In addition to his father he was preceded in death by his grandparents George and Myrtle Leath, Alonzo and Mary Broughton Collins.

Survivors include his partner of 33 years Jerry Troyer; mother Roberta Collins; brothers Terry Collins and John Thomas Collins; aunts Haroldean Gambrel and Irene Goodin; uncle Willie Leath; special friends Noreen Bristow; his fur babies Roxie Roberta and Ava. A host of family and friends that will miss him dearly.

Memorial services will be Saturday November 24, 2018 at Brooks-Durham Funeral Home after 6PM until 8PM the Brooks-Durham Funeral Home is honored to serve the Collins family
