Myrtle Jewel Lingar Collins, age 64 of Fourmile, KY passed away on May 24, 2017 at her home. She was born December 22, 1952 in Bell County to the late Charlie and Minnie Brock Lingar. She was a member of the Old Fourmile Pentecostal Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband James (BoBo) Collins, son Eddie Collins, grandson Tyler Hensley; two brothers Charles Coley Simpson and Charles Louis Lingar; two sisters Ersie Jean Webb and Shirley Louis Lingar.
Survivors include her daughter Barbara and Farrlin Smith of Corbin, KY, two sons James and Michelle Collins, Terry and Deanna Collins both of Fourmile, KY and a grandson she raised like a son Timmy (Jessica) Bays; grandchildren Jamie Collins, Brittany ( Stephan) Griffin, Katherine (Braxton) Adkins, Cailtlyn, Terri Lynn and Shelby Collins, Savannah Smith, Dakota Collins; two step-grandchildren Renee Hall and JP Smith; seven great-grandchildren Nathan, Collin, Tripp Bays, Hailie and Aiden Hensley, Baylynn Smith and Keenan Adkins; two step great-grandchildren Robbie and Ferrlin Hall; Brothers Ulis, Johnny, Lawrence and Dick Lingar all of Fourmile, KY; sister Mabel Sizemore of Pineville. Bestfriend and sister-in-law Gertie West. A host of family and friends, she was loved by all that met her and she will be greatly missed.
Funeral services will be Sunday May, 28, 2017 at 2PM at Brooks-Durham Funeral Home with Rev. Paul Gibson, Rev. Arthur Jackson and Rev. Bill Dunn; burial will follow in Pinelawn Memorial Garden Cemetery, Pineville; pallbearers will be Ulis Lingar, Mark Lingar, Stephen Griffin, Robert Daniels, Braxton Adkins, Kenny and Kenny and Darrell West.
The family will receive friends after 2PM on Saturday May 27, 2017 at Brooks-Durham Funeral Home until 9PM. The Brooks-Durham Funeral Home is honored to serve the Collins family.
