Junior Forester

Junior Forester, age 75 of Stoney Fork, passed away Monday, February 7, 2022 at Baptist Health, Corbin. He was born November 15, 1946 in Kentucky to the late Henry Forester and Naomi Wilson Forester. Junior was a hard worker and he loved his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren dearly.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brothers, Hurley Forester and Donnie Wayne Forester; sister Christine Forester.

Survivors include his loving wife of 50 years, Carolyn Forester; his children Christopher Dewayne Forester and wife Mary Ann; Pam Baker and husband Fred; grandchildren, Kendra Baker, Kevin (Brittany) Baker and Lindsy Catron; great-grandchildren, Caden Baker, Eli Baker, Mason Holland, Cooper Baker and Lincoln Baker; brothers Forest (Linda) Forester and Carl (Wendy) Forester; sister Betty Hull; special nephews “Tootie” and ‘Snoopy” a host of nieces, nephews’ other relatives and many friends.

Funeral services will be Friday, February 11, 2022 at 2PM at Brooks-Durham Funeral Home with Rev. Mark Mahurin and Rev. Bobby Grubbs; burial will follow in Greenhills Memorial Garden Cemetery, Middlesboro, KY with Chris Forester, Hurley Forester Jr., Kevin Baker, Cody Forester, Tyler Forester, Albert Brock Jr., and Jonathan Helton serving as pallbearers.

The family will receive friends after 6PM on Thursday, February 10, 2022 at Brooks-Durham Funeral Home until 9PM. The Brooks-Durham Funeral Home is honored to serve the Forester family and ask that you keep them in your prayers.
