Irene Gambrel, age 87 a resident of Fourmile, KY departed this life, November 4, 2020 at Middlesboro ARH. She was born January 26, 1933 in Bell Co, KY to the late Thomas and Bessie Warren.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Jimmie Gambrel; brothers Thomas Warren Jr., and Ronnie Warren; sisters Nadine West and Edna Smith.
Survivors include her children, Lonnie Gambrel, Barbara Collett and Phillip Gambrel and wife Angie; grandchildren Lonnie Wayne, Leanna Miller, David Collett Jr., Jessica Collett, Lindsey Jackson and Jonathan Jackson; 6 great-grandchildren; brothers and sisters Ruby Gambrel, Doris (David) Albright, Charles Warren, Mary Collier and Elsie (Diance) Reynolds.
Funeral services will be Saturday, November 7, 2020 at 1PM at Brooks-Durham Funeral Home with Bro. Arthur Jackson; burial will follow in Green Hills Memorial Garden Cemetery, Middlesboro, KY.
The family will receive friends after 5PM Friday, November 6, 2020 at Brooks-Durham Funeral Home until 7PM. The Brooks-Durham Funeral Home is honored to serve the Gambrel family and ask that you keep them in your prayers.
