Lester Gambrel

Lester Gambrel, age 76 of Middlesboro, KY passed away January 21, 2021 at Middlesboro ARH. He was born August 31, 1944 in Harlan Co, KY to the late Harl and Ida Patterson Gambrel.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Martha Napier Gambrel; brother, Earl Gambrel; sisters Lucy Gambrel, Anna Gambrel and Alene Gambrel Taylor.

Survivors include his daughters, Tina Taylor and husband Mitchell, Lisa Webb and husband Kenny; brothers Gene Gambrel and Arelee (Melva) Gambrel; sister Bonnie (James) Woolum; grandchildren Brian Taylor and Michele Madron; great-grandchildren Joseph, Grace and Levi. A host of nieces, nephews’ other relatives and many friends.

Funeral services will be Monday, January 25, 2021 at 2PM at Brooks-Durham Funeral Home with Rev. Danny Robbins; burial will follow in Green Hills Memorial Garden Cemetery, Middlesboro, KY.

The family will receive friends after 12 noon, Monday, January 25, 2021 at Brooks-Durham Funeral Home until the funeral hour at 2PM. The Brooks-Durham Funeral Home is honored to serve the Gambrel family and ask that you keep them in your prayers.
