Gary Wayne “Diaper Head” Hoskins

Gary Wayne “Diaper Head” Hoskins, age 60 of Arjay, KY departed this life on Tuesday, December 5, 2023, at his home in Arjay, KY. He was born on April 10, 1963, to the late Betty North and Ewell Vernon Hoskins in Bell Co. KY. Gary had worked as a tree trimmer.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers, Michael Hoskins, and Luther Houston Hoskins; sister Elsie Lynn Hoskins; nephew Bradley Hoskins; grandparents Linda Jean Taylor and Bradford Hoskins and Elsie and Luther North; brothers-in-law James Mason and Donald Foister; father-in-law and mother-in-law Virgil and Ruth Knuckles; sisters-in-law Sharon Knuckles, Mattie Sanders, and Carla Ward.

Survivors include his daughter, Ashleigh Siobhar Orlando and husband David of Georgetown, KY; grandchildren Michael Orlando and Gabriella Orlando; lifelong companion Rosalee Christopher of Arjay, KY; stepsons Jody Christopher and Stevie Christopher; grandchildren Teanna Christopher, Stephanie Leeann Christopher, Jacob Christopher, Logan Christopher and Madison Blevins; great-granddaughter Haisley Christopher; brothers and sisters Pat Foister of Middlesboro, KY, Londa Mason of Pineville, KY, Tim Hoskins of Pineville, KY, Stevie (Neila) Hoskins of Page, Linda (Steve) Warren of Arjay KY, Eslie (Ray) Elliott of Ferndale, Terry Hoskins of Pineville, KY and Roger Hoskins; sisters-in-laws Tina (Dave) Burnett of Lafollett, TN and Tammy (Carl) Runyon of Artemus, KY; brother-in-law Kenneth(Marlene) Knuckles of Arjay, KY; a host of nieces, nephews other relatives and many friends.

Funeral services will be on Friday, December 8, 2023, at 8PM at Brooks-Durham Funeral Home with Rev. Gary Wagner and Rev. Terry Nelson; music will be provided by Julie Wagner.

graveside services will be on Saturday, December 9, 2023, at Balkan Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Balkan with procession lining up at 1PM at Brooks-Durham Funeral Home.

The family will receive friends after 6PM on Friday December 8, 2023, until the funeral hour at 8PM at Brooks-Durham Funeral Home. The Brooks-Durham Funeral Home is honored to serve the Hoskins family and ask that you keep them in your prayers.
