Virda Green

Virda Delores “Dee Dee” Green, age 45 of Hulen, KY passed away, Friday, March 13, 2020. She was born September 23, 1974 in Augusta, GA and was the daughter of the late Willard Dean and Eunice Delores Mason Smith. She was a teacher’s aide at Bell Central School Center, where she was loved dearly and loved her students dearly. She was a member of Our Fathers House in Pineville, KY.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by two sisters Patricia (Patty) Smith and Janet Smith; grandparents William Robert, Virdie Mason and Bonnie Back; father-in-law and mother-in-law William Paul and Judy Green.

Survivors include her husband, Billy Green; son Cody Green and her daughter Megan Green; siblings J.R Smith and wife Joyce, David Smith, Sharon Smith, Joyce Buell; brother-in-law Danny Green and wife Donna; sister-in-law Paula Hardin and husband Dennis; nieces and nephews David Smith, Jessica Smith, Brittany (Jason) Henderson, Lacey (Eric) Smith, Christian (Brittany) Mason, Amy Kidd, Casey (Tyler) Carroll, Jake Smith, April (John) Sturgill, Ryan Hoskins, Amanda (Derek) Bradley, Lee Hardin, Brooke (Ryan) Moore and Shelby Green; a host of great-nieces and nephews, many relatives, many friends.

Funeral services will be Monday, March 16, 2020 at 8PM at Brooks-Durham Funeral Home, Pineville, with Rev. Odie Carroll and Blake Ramey; music will be provided by Wanda Carroll; burial will be Tuesday, March 17, 2020 at 2PM at Greenhills Memorial Garden Cemetery, Middlesboro, KY, with Danny Green, Charles Ramey, Calvin Smith, Dennis Hardin, Ryan Shepard, David Smith, J.R Smith, Christian Mason and Ryan Hoskins as pallbearers.

The family will receive friends after 5PM, Monday, March 16, 2020 at Brooks-Durham Funeral Home until the funeral hour at 8PM. The Brooks-Durham Funeral Home is honored to serve the Green family.
