Nora Hembree

Ms. Nora Lee Rhodes Hembree, age 81 of Middlesboro, KY was born December 18, 1935 and passed away November 15, 2016 at Middlesboro ARH. She was a believer in the Baptist Faith.

She was preceded in death by her parents Susie Rhodes and John Wess Rhodes; brother Randall Rhodes; sister Flora Fuson and Dolly Ethel Rhodes.

Nora is survived by two daughters Shirlene Miller of Middlesboro and Cathy Phipps of TN; granddaughter Brittany LaNora Martin ( Johnathan) of Middlesboro; special great-granddaughter Jaylan Victoria Rayne Martin; two sisters Sylvia Fuson of Greasy Creek and Ardith Helton of OH; surviving children of Sylvia Fuson; Carlyon Jean Fuson, Adie Fuson, JR., and Carlos Fuson. Surviving children of Ardith Helton: Randall Vesper, Charlyon Reeves, Deana Everson, Brenda and Debbie, Elvis Wayne Helton, Drexel Helton Jr.,

Nora had a host of friends and relatives she loved all the listed above as her own. Some of her many hobbies were sewing and quilting and reading books. She was a very hard working woman who used her beautiful voice to sing as she worked, Nora was very compassionate and loving to children and animals. The family would like a very special thank you to Tristate nursing home, Harrogate, TN Middlesboro Hospital especially staff in ICU, Dr. C.A Moore and Dr. Neil Barry.
