Betty Hoskins

Betty Jean Hoskins, age 90 of Pineville, KY departed this life, July 3, 2021. She was born February 4, 1931 in Pineville, KY to the late Luther and Elsie Hubbard North. She had been a homemaker.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ewell Vernon Hoskins; sons, Michael Hoskins and Luther Houston Hoskins; daughter Elsie Hoskins; grandson Bradley Hoskins and son-in-law James Ed Mason.

Survivors include her children, Pat (Don) Foister, Londa Mason, Linda (Steve) Warren, Elsie (Ray) Elliott, Stevie (Nella) Hoskins, Tim Hoskins, Garry (Rosie) Hoskins, Terry Hoskins and Roger Hoskins; 24 grandchildren; 39 great-grandchildren and 14 great-great grandchildren. A host of nieces, nephews’ other relatives and many friends. A special thank you to Bluegrass Care Navigators, Hospice.

Funeral services will be 2PM Wednesday, July 7, 2021 at Brooks-Durham Funeral Home with Rev. Ricky Dorton; burial will follow in Balkan cemetery, Balkan, KY with her grandsons as pallbearers.

The family will receive friends after 2PM on Tuesday, July 6, 2021 at Brooks-Durham Funeral Home until 9PM. The Brooks-Durham Funeral Home is honored to serve the Hoskins family and ask that you keep them in you r prayers.
