Lucille Jones Shelton

Lucille Jones Shelton, age 74 of Dorton Branch, passed away Saturday December 1, 2018 at her home. She was born in Pineville, KY on October 4, 1944 to the late Monroe and Jesse Webb Jones. She was a homemaker.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Ellis (Duke) Shelton; daughter Patricia Cheyenne Honeycutt; great-grandchild baby Carnes; brothers Harold Jones, Monroe Jones Jr., Alvin Jones and Edward Jones; sisters-in law Imogene Jones and Catherine Jones; son-in-law Dallas Honeycutt

Survivors include her daughters Julie (Jerry) Saylor and Shannon (Wayne) Mason; grandchildren Pricilla (Aubrey) Baker, Dallas Hank (Robin) Honeycutt, Amber (Travis) Howard, Jerry Christopher Saylor, Tabitha (Brandon) Carnes, Nike Mason, Amber Mason, Merisha (Damion Wilson) Mason and Erin Mason; great-grandchildren Shawn Honeycutt; Tyler Baker, Dallas Nevaeh Baker, Jordan Honeycutt, William Honeycutt, Dillon Honeycutt, Justin Honeycutt, Joslynn and Lakelee Carnes, Braleigh Mason and Caden Howard; (4) great-great grandchildren; brothers Billy Ray Jones (Helene) Fred Ernest Jones and Joe Albert (Wanda) Jones; sister Shirley Lingar; sister-in-law Linda Jones; Christopher Rose whom was like a son to Lucille; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be 3PM Tuesday, December 4, 2018 at Brooks-Durham Funeral Home with Rev. Jordan Saylor and Rev. James Griffin; burial will follow in the Hickory Flats Cemetery, Dorton Branch.

The family will receive friends after 6PM Monday December 3, 2018 at Brooks-Durham Funeral Home until 9PM. The Brooks-Durham Funeral Home is honored to serve the Jones-Shelton Family.
