Myrtle Leath

Myrtle Marie Gambrel Leath 83 of Flatlick, Kentucky formerly of Arjay, Kentucky went home to be with her heavenly father on Friday March, 16, 2012 at her home. She was born June 1, 1928 in Walker, Kentucky. Myrtle was the daughter of the late Tom and Stella Messer Gambrel. She believed in the Pentecostal faith and prayed daily for her family and friends. She was a devoted mother and wife.

She was preceded in death by her husband George Thomas Leath; daughters Cordia Mae Brummett and Deborah Jean Lawson; son Robert Paul Leath; great-granddaughters Elizabeth Greene and Brittany Goodin; sister Roberta Hofsvang.

Left to mourn are her daughters Roberta Collins of Flatlick, KY, Haroldeane (Wayne) Gambrel of Arjay, KY, Irene (Jack) Goodin of Pineville, KY; son Willie (Wanda) Leath of Flatlick, KY; brother Robert Lee Gambrel Sr., of Arjay, KY; Grandchildren Jerry Collins, Terry Collins, John Thomas Collins, Laketa Goodin, Teresa Klumb, Allison Gardner, Glenda Holland, Lester Fugate, Jr., Willie Dwayne Fugate, Terry Sowers Jr., James Sowers, Kevin Goodin, Timothy Gambrel, Robert P. Leath Jr., Michael Lawson and Ashley Goodin; Twenty Two great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild and another one to be born April 3rd.
