Donald Ray Lingar, age 64, of Fourmile, Kentucky passed away Thursday, April 1, 2021 at his home. He was born on February 12, 1957 in Pineville, Kentucky. He was a talented auto mechanic for many years, believed in the Pentecostal faith, and often enjoyed attending Trinity Pentecostal Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Maxine Gambrel Lingar and Charles Lewis Lingar, biological father James West, two bothers: Ronald Lingar and Rannel Lingar, along with two sisters: Lisa Lingar Jones and Versie “Pug” Lewis.
He is survived by his sons Donald Wayne Lingar of Pineville and Allan (Jody) Lingar, also of Pineville; grandchildren: Tyra Lingar of Barbourville, Kentucky, Christian Lingar, Braxton (Miranda) Lingar, Braiden Lingar, Hayden Lingar, all of Pineville; sisters: Janet (Frank) Dell of Maryville, Tennessee, Tina (Tim) Partin of Pineville, Kentucky, Minnie Jean (Ronald) Smith of Flat Lick, Kentucky; brothers: Glen (Debbie) West of Pineville, Kentucky, Michael “Peewee” (Judy) West of Barbourville, Kentucky; brother-in-law Charles Jones of Pineville, Kentucky ; brothers-in-law Charles Jones of Pineville, Kentucky and Charles Lewis of Pineville, Kentucky; sisters-in-law Juanita Jones Ward and Phyllis Shipley Jones, his companion of three years Cathy Greaser of Flat Lick, Kentucky, and a host of nieces and nephews.
A memorial service in Mr. Lingar’s honor will be held on Thursday, April 8, 2021 from 6:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m. at Brooks-Durham Funeral Home in Pineville, Kentucky, which is in charge of all arrangements.
