Sandy Long

Sandra Allen Long was born to Charles and Edith Allen on June 30, 1952 in Pineville, KY. She departed this life surrounded by her family on May 15, 2022 at her home.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 36 years, Ray Long; they had owned, and operated Long’s Pic Pac and they were avid donors to churches and schools in the community.

Left to mourn and honor her are her siblings, who all reside in Bell County, Brother’s, Eddie (June) Allen, Howard (Phyllis) Allen, Larry Allen and Nannie, and her sister Rosemary Allen. Stepson, Mike Long of Pineville and his children Mikey Long, Faith Long, Rhett Long, Beth Long and Mandy (Redell) Roberts; step-grandchildren, Alex and Taylor Wilburn; Niece Ashley (Derek) Delk; nephews’ Tim (Melody) Allen, Mike (Bridget) Allen, Brian (Sue Ellen) Allen, Jeff (Loren)Allen, Nikki Allen; a host of great-nieces and nephews’.

Funeral services will be Thursday, May 19, 2022 at 2PM at The Nazarene Church of Pineville with Rev. Scott Smith and Rev. Randy Baker; burial will follow in the Allen-Long Cemetery, Pineville, KY with Tim Allen, Mike Allen, Brian Allen, Jeff Allen, Mikey Long and Mike Long serving as pallbearers.

The family will receive friends after 12 noon on Thursday, May 19, 2022 at The Nazarene Church of Pineville until the funeral hour at 2PM. The Brooks-Durham Funeral Home is honored to serve the Long family and ask that you keep them in your prayers.
