Buford Madden, Jr., 74 of Bean Station, TN gained his heavenly reward, Friday, August 11, 2017 at UT Medical Center, Knoxville, TN. He was born March 25, 1943 in Harlan County, KY to the late Clarinda Dixon Madden and Bruce Madden. He was a retired Coal Miner and an avid Fisherman and hunter who enjoyed watching the Kentucky Wildcats play basketball.
He was preceded in death by his wife Brenda Madden; brother Jeff Madden; grandfather Bill Dixon know to the “boys” as Pippy; sisters-in-law Opal Madden, Lawan Bush and Shelia Partin; nephew Junior Petery; mother-in-law Dorothy J. Bush who was like a mother to him.
Survivors include his brothers Bill Madden (Della) Harley Madden (Jenny) Stepmother Sally Madden. Left to cherish many loving memories are his son Bruce (LaRae) daughter Ann (Tommy) and Jennifer( Terry)Grandchildren Ashley (Samuel) Megan who he helped raise as his own; great-granddaughter Darby Brendlynn to be welcomed this fall; other grandchildren Jon, Chris, Brandie, Hollie, Clay and their spouses; great-grandchildren Sailum, Lana, Bryson, Colton, Harlie, Callie, Dalton, Cammie and Brayden; brother-in-law Darmon (Doris) and sisters-in-law Debbie (Bill) and Novella (Danny) special nieces and nephews Tammy, Jr, Shonda, Monica, Maddy, Bobby, Betty, Jon, Melissa, Gary, Melinda, Christina, Ronnie, Charlie, Tony, Angie, Linda, Billy, Gary and Harley, Jr., His neighbor and good friend Fred Johnson
