Douglas “Flash” McGeorge 64 of Pineville, KY passed away Sunday October 30, 2011 at his home. The son of the late John and Virginia Burnett Johnson McGeorge. He was born on June 30, 1947.
He was preceded in death by his parents John and Virginia Burnett Johnson McGeorge; grandparents McKinnley Burnett and Amanda, Dave and Maude McGeorge; Step-grandmother Martha Ann Burnett.
Survivors include his wife Lois Jean Rhoten McGeorge; son Scott McGeorge; daughters Terri (Bruce) Baker and Tonya McGeorge; grandchildren Melanie Baker and Lawrence Baker; brothers Larry Mcgeorge and Michael McGeorge; special aunt Sudie Brock; special friends Cledith Kishpaugh, George Brooks and Glenn Helton.
Funeral services will be 8:00 p.m. Tuesday November 1, 2011, at the Brooks-Durham Funeral Home with Rev. Hubert Baker and Rev. David Howard; Pallbearers will be Friends and Family. Burial follow in David McGeorge Cemetery at Laurel Hill, KY.
The family will receive friends from 6 until the funeral hour at 8pm Tuesday November 1, 2011 at the Brooks-Durham Funeral Home. Graveside services will be November 2, 2011 at 11am; The Brooks-Durham Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements and is honored to be serving the McGeorge family.
