Joyce Miller

Joyce Dean (Deanne) Saylor Miller age 71 of Pineville, passed away peacefully, July 16, 2020 at Saint Joseph Hospital, London, KY. She was born November 6, 1948 to the late Robert and Rosie Smith Saylor. She was the baby of 12 brothers and sister; she believed in the Holiness faith. Deanne was a stay at home mom for her kids and later she provided care for the elderly in Bell County. Deanne married Olene Miller and raised 3 children. Deanna loved her family and friends, she enjoyed sitting on the porch and talking with everyone. She loved to laugh and enjoy life. We rejoice in knowing she is in the arms of Jesus; our brother was waiting with his arms wide open for this reunion, united we meet again.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Olene Miller; son Johnny Oance Miller and brother Tilman Saylor.

Survivors include her daughters Jenny Miller Bailey (Tom Collett) and Lisa Miller Goodin (Tom) grandchildren Brandon and fiancé Caitlyn Evans, Chelsea Bailey and fiancé Christopher Iocsak, Shane (Shelby) Goodin, Cole Goodin, Ronnie Miller, Ryan Miller, Robbie Miller; 6 great-grandchildren; brothers Walter (Delores) Saylor and Burchel Saylor; sister Susie Taylor; special friend that was like a sister Norma Saylor.

Funeral services will be Monday July 20, 2020 at 2PM at Brooks-Durham Funeral Home with Rev. Mike Liford and Rev. Jeremy Sanders; burial will follow in Pine Lawn Memorial Garden Cemetery, Pineville, KY, with her grandsons as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Tom Goodin and Tom Collett.

The family will receive friends after 12 noon, Monday July 20, 2020 until the funeral hour at 2PM at Brooks-Durham Funeral Home. The Brooks-Durham Funeral Home is honored to serve the Miller family and ask that you keep them in your prayers.
