Bernice Fuson Pursifull Mills, 55, of Pineville, passed away on Tuesday, May 24 ,2011 at the Pineville Community Hospital. She was born in Pineville, KY on June 6, 1955 the daughter of the late John Will and Ollie Short Fuson. She had been a teachers aid for 24 years and worked for the Bell County Board of Education.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son Anthony Sean Pursifull; brothers O.B Fuson, R.C Fuson, Larry Fuson, John W. Fuson, Jr.; sister Daisy Peace and the late Kern Pursifull father of Sean Pursifull.

Survivors include her son, Dewayne Mills; brothers Charles M. (Sug) Fuson, Leamon (Parrott) Fuson and wife Donna, Garrett Fuson and wife Jean and J.D Fuson and wife Willetta; sisters Lou Venie Ely and husband Luther, Wanda Faye Blakely and Betty Joyce Davis; grandchildren Lexi Pursifull, Frankie Pursifull and Sean Bennett Pursifull; Special nieces Freda Fuson Burnett and Lisa Fuson Brock; father of Dewayne, Mike Mills. And host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Services will be at 1:00 PM on Friday May 27, 2011 at Brooks-Durham Funeral Home with Rev. Arthur Jackson. Music will be by provided by Mitch Williams. Burial will be in the John Will Fuson Cemetery on Hwy 92 with family and friends serving as pallbearers. The family will receive friends after 11:00 AM Friday May 27, 2011 until the funeral hour at the Brooks-Durham Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers please make donation on the funeral to Brooks-Durham Funeral Home. The Brooks-Durham Funeral Home, Pineville, is honored to be serving the Mills Family.
