Kitty Nelson

March 14, 1941 — March 21, 2022

Monday, March 21, 2022, God called Kitty Lou Cornelius Nelson home to end her pain and tribulations

on earth. She now rests in the bosom of Jesus Christ.

Kitty Lou Cornelius Nelson was born on March 14, 1941 to Matt Cornelius and Mable Lawson Cornelius.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Bill Trosper, and her second

husband, David Nelson. She was also preceded by one sister, Joyce Ann Johnson, and two brothers,

Gerald and Wayne Cornelius.

Kitty was a member of East Pineville Baptist Church.

She is survived by one daughter, Denise Trosper, one son and daughter-in-law that was more like a

daughter, Tom and Mary Trosper. Two granddaughters that were her pride and joy, Elizabeth Denise

Trosper and Rebecca Ann Trosper. Two sisters, Lena and Husband, Harold Harbin, Barbara and

Husband, Chuck Green. Nieces and Nephews, Danny and Lisa Johnson, Kim and Jacob Saylor,

Todd and Elizabeth Green, Vikki Johnson, Sheila and Eric Wheatley, Wayne and Karen Cornelius,

Tim Cornelius, Bob Cornelius, Ron Cornelius, and Jerry Cornelius

Visitation, Wednesday, March 23, 2022 from 6 pm to 8 pm. Services at 8 pm by Rev. Mark Hunter

and Brother Chuck Green. Music by Brother Terry Miracle. Pallbearers are the nephews.

Funeral procession will meet at 11am at Brooks-Durham Funeral Home and proceed to the Green

Hills Memorial Gardens, Middlesbrough, Ky. The Brooks-Durham Funeral Home is honored to serve the Nelson family and ask that you keep them in your prayers.
