John Steven “Stevie” Payne: The Boss, passed away Saturday October 20, 2012 at Pineville Community Hospital at the age of 36 he was born on February 26, 1976 to Bernice Overton Payne and the late John Payne, Jr. He had been selfemployed Payne Custom Builders; he loved taking his son Dalton fishing, playing basketball, riding his dirt bike and working.
He was predeceased in death by his father John Payne, Jr.; brother Phillip Payne; father-in-law Orville “Poodle” Sinkhorn.
He is survived and fondly remembered by his wife Jennifer Payne; daughter Andrea Nicole Payne and son John Dalton Payne; mother Bernice Payne; brother James Matthew “Jimmy” Payne; sister Judy Ann Smith; special niece Ashley Payne; special friends Jason Sanders, Jonathan Slone, Billy Rye and Shawn Elliott; he enjoyed all of Andrea and Daltons friends; A host of special nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
