James Ramey, 72, of Barbourville, KY, formerly of Fourmile, KY passed away on Saturday, February 25, 2012, at the UK medical Center-Lexington, KY. He was born in Bell County, KY on June 22, 1939, a son of the late Ted and Leona Johnson Ramey.
He was preceded in death by brothers Clyde Ramey, Ernest Ramey and Lee Ramey; Sisters Deloris Moore and Annie Mae Allen.
Survivors include his children James Ramey, Jr. and wife Darlene, Timothy Wayne Ramey, Janet Fisher and husband David, Diana Faye Ramey and Mary Ellen Ramey; grandchildren Ashley Ramey, Adam Ramey, Brittney Nicole Fisher and Mary Louise Ramey; great-grandchildren Gracie Robertson and Emily Robertson. A host of other relatives and friends.
