Carolyn Sargent

Carolyn Mosley Sargent, age 61 of Pineville, KY passed away on January 22, 2023 at Tri-Sate Nursing Home, Harrogate, TN. The daughter of the late Dewey Vernon and Sally Mosley. Carolyn graduated from the Kentucky School for the Deaf in Danville, KY. She was a believer in the Baptist Faith.

Survivors include her sons, Danny (Tammy) Sargent and Christopher Gambrel; 9 grandchildren, Gene, Genese, Alyssa, Caelyn, Aaron, Rebecca, Wilma, Danielle and Lucas; 3 great-grandchildren, Tanner, Anaiha and Loraly; sisters, Charlotte Baker, Wanda Begley and Penny Mosley; brothers, Vernon Mosley and Ron Mosley; a host of nieces, nephews; other relatives and friends.

Weep not for me though I have gone. Into that gentle night. Grieve if you will but not for long upon my souls sweet flight, I am at peace, my souls at rest. There is no need for tears for with your love I was so blessed for all of those years, there is no more pain. I suffer not. The pain is now gone, put now all of these things out of your memory I will live on, remember not my fight for breath. Remember not the strife. Please do not dwell upon my death I suffered in silence every day, an illness that would not go away but now I have no more pain for Gods loving arms has healed me again.

The family will receive friends after 12 noon on Saturday, January 28, 2023, at Brooks-Durham Funeral Home until the funeral hour at 2PM, with Rev. David Howard and Rev. Harold Sutton; burial will follow in Pinelawn Memorial Garden Cemetery, East Pineville. The Brooks-Durham Funeral Home is honored to serve the Sargent family and ask you keep them in your prayers.
