Mary Shelton

Mary Shelton, age 83 of Middleboro, KY departed this life on December 7, 2021 at Middlesboro, ARH. She was born July 17, 1938 in Flag Pond, Dorton Branch, KY to the late Pascal Maynard and Birtha Thacker Maynard. Mary had been a homemaker; she was a believer in the Baptist Faith, she loved to sew and walk in the mountains. She loved her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and her dog Candy. Mary was loved.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Grant Shelton Sr.; grandson, Garrett Wayne Shelton; brothers and sisters, Juanita, Unis, Roscoe, James and Luther.

Survivors include her children, Dorothy Jones; sons Floyd (Lynda) Shelton, Luther (Glenda) Shelton and Grant Shelton; grandchildren, Holly Shelton Polliard (Matt), Sequoyah Collins, Avery Jacob Shelton, Samantha Danielle Jones, Shannon Rachelle Jones and Simon Luccas Jones; great-grandchildren, Piper Isabel Polliard and Heath Garrett Polliard; brothers Jerry Maynard, Frank Maynard, Warren Maynard and Kenneth Maynard; sisters Inez Broy, Marie Maynard, Dora Shelton and Judy Terry; special friends, Henry Garms, James Whitehead, Sally Evans and Johns and Mark Emery; a host of nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.

Interment services will be on Saturday, December 18, 2021 at 2PM at Hickory Flats Cemetery, Dorton Branch
