George Smith Jr

George Washington Smith Jr., 80, of Rose Hill, VA passed away March 13, 2014. He was born November 8, 1933 to the late George Washington Smith and Theo Hensley Smith. He had been a laborer a Veteran in the United States Army and Minister at Church of God.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by wives Elvia Jean Smith, Barbara Smith, Jan Smith, Janet Smith and Sue Smith; brother L.B Smith; son Michael Scott Smith and Grandson Joseph E. Smith II.

Survivors include his children sons Joe (Mary) Smith, James Smith, Terry Smith, Jerry Smith, Jeff Smith, Steven Smith, Steve Reohrich; daughters Lisa Mason, Linda Smith, Toni Gayhart, stepdaughter Linda Risesinger and special daughter Nancy; grandchildren Beth, Steven, Johnathan, Emily, Dalton, Jimmy Wayne, Jonika, Cheyenne, Josh, Lacy, Tiffany, Chasity, Shanie Hall and Amanda Risesinger; brothers Ron (Nora) Smith, William (Trudy) Smith, Jim (Gail) Smith; sisters Geraldean (John) Wade, Maxine Barum, Sylvia (Chris) Hurrier, Priscilla (Tom) Hall and Shirley (Darrell) Davis. A host of nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.
