Silas Smith

In loving memory of Silas Lee Smith, age 51 of Arjay, KY passed from this life on Saturday, October 27, 2018 at Middlesboro ARH. He was born in Pineville, KY on April 27, 1967 to Alvie Smith. Sr., and Fronda Jones Smith. He has been a coalminer.

He was preceded in death by his daughter Marlinda Michelle Lee Smith; sister Rhonda Mills and brother-in-law Mickey Mills.

Survivors include his parents Alvie Smith Jr., and Fronda Smith; children Angel Smith and Joshua Smith; brothers Alvie Smith Jr., sisters Linda Byrd, Regina Mills, Tammy (Charlie) Miller, Rebecca (Richie) Shackleford and special sister Mary Smith; special niece Kristie (David) English. A host of nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be Friday, November 2, 2018 at 2PM at Brooks-Durham Funeral Home with Rev. Gary Wagner, Rev. Carl Jones and Rev. Joe Jones; burial will follow in Red Hill Cemetery, Arjay, KY. The family will receive friends after 12 noon on Friday, November 2 , 2018 at Brooks-Durham Funeral Home until the funeral hour at 2PM.
