Ira M. “Ray” Starr age 84 passed away Tuesday February 1, 2011 at the U.T Medical Center in Knoxville. He was born in Beckley West Virginia, son of Lena and Harvey Starr.
Survivors include his wife of 67 years, Mary Catherine; sons Patrick Starr (Rose Mary) of Calvin, KY, Raymond Starr (Judy) of Pineville KY and Dwaine Starr (Sharon) of St. Ignace, MI; Six grandchildren; Eight great-grandchildren all residing in Michigan.
Upon Ira M. “Ray” Starr’s request he will be cremated. The Brooks-Durham Funeral Home is honored to serve the Starr family.
