Teresa Tigue

Teresa Lynn Rice Tigue, age 58 of Dorton Branch passed away on Saturday, December 28, 2024, at Baptist health Corbin. Teresa was born on May 9, 1966, in Pineville, KY to the late Charles and Kitty Rose Miracle Rice. Teresa was a retired LPN, she loved her kids and grandkids, she enjoyed the outdoors and was an avid fisherwoman; gardening, shopping, sewing and animals was her passion. 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Benny Tigue, brothers, Jackie Lee Rice and Dewey Rice. 

Survivors include her children, son, Ben Adam Tigue and wife Allison Michelle; daughter, Jessica Rose Tigue Mason and husband James Brandon Ray and daughter Samantha Nicole Tigue Vogelsang and husband Christopher Michael; grandchildren, Kairi Raye Mason, Piper Elizabeth Mason, Gabriel Dean Vogelsang, Abby Rose Tigue, Genevieve Lilly Tigue and Benedict Charles Tigue; brothers Charles Rice and Deeron Rice; sisters Frances Hubbard and Alice Abbott.

Funeral services will be on Friday, January 3, 2025, at Brooks-Durham Funeral Home at 2PM with Rev. Jimmy Johnson; burial will follow in Tigue Cemetery, Dorton Branch.

The family will receive friends after 12 noon on Friday, January 3, 2025, until the funeral hour at 2PM at Brooks-Durham Funeral Home. The Brooks-Durham Home is honored to serve the Tigue family.
