Rosalie Ward

In loving memory of Rosalie “Bootsie” Ward, 86 who passed away May 15, 2014 at her home. She was born March 26, 1928 in Harlan County, KY to the late Hubert and Mae Hill Slover. She had been a Housewife a member of the Eastern Star, Bell County Homemakers, Woman’s Missionary Union, Riverside Baptist Church, church choir and room mother in each of her children’s class rooms.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband William Grant Ward; daughter Carla Beth Ward; sisters Thelma Creech and Jessie Mays; Brother Charles “Toby” Slover and brother-in-law Larry Ward.

Survivors include her children William Neil Ward and wife Meryl, Bruce Ward and wife Rebecca; daughter Patricia Ward Howard; brother Frank Slover of New Hampshire; sister Carma Sivananda and Edith Martin; sisters-in-law Joy Morgan and Reba Vandermale; grandchildren Gene (Shella) Howard and Stephanie Howard; great-grandchildren Anna Woods, Ava Woods, Mia Howard and Max Howard; special friends Gaynelle Hendrickson and Georgeann McGaffee; A host of nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.
