Ashley Brooks-Bennett was born and raised in Pineville where she currently lives with her husband, Michael Bennett and their daughter Annslee Darbi Rae Bennett, Ashley is a 2007 graduate of the Cincinnati College of Mortuary Science where she received her Associates degree in Applied Science in Mortuary Science. Ashley graduated from Bell County High School in 2005. She was licensed in September of 2008 as a Kentucky Funeral Director and Embalmer. Ashley is the youngest female to become majority owner of a funeral home in the state of Kentucky, Ashley is also the only female to graduate from Bell County High School as a licensed Funeral Director/ Embalmer and was named People's Choice Awards, Best of the Best Funeral Home Director in 2010 by the Middlesboro Daily News.

Michael Bennett Was born and raised in Pineville where he currently lives with his wife Ashley Brooks-Bennett and daughter Annslee Darbi Rae Bennett. Michael graduated from Bell County High School in 1988 and graduated from Mid America College of Mortuary Science in 1995. Michael has been affiliated with the funeral home since 1989.

Ethan was born and raised in Bell County. He is the son of Carrie Daniels and Jeff Warren. He is the only grandson of Mike and Janet Carroll. Ethan has been with Brooks-Durham Funeral Home since 2016. He was a member of the 2018 graduating class at Bell County High School and is currently studying at Union College in Barbourville. Ethan is a member of Ebenezer Baptist church and the Union College Ambassadors program.

Non-Licensed Staff

Although they are not licensed funeral directors, these staff members are vitally important to the operation of our firm. These individuals make it possible for us to professionally coordinate funerals with the quality of service our community has come to expect from us.

Irma Gregory Brooks was born and raised in Pineville where she lives with her husband Darrell. Irma has two daughters Amanda Branstutter and Ashley Brooks-Bennett, she has three granddaughters Chanda, Gracie & Annslee. Irma is the Bell County Treasurer and a member of Ebenezer Baptist Church.

Janet Gregory Carroll is a born and raised native of Pineville. Janet married her high school sweetheart Mike Carroll, they have one daughter Carrie Carroll Daniels and son-in-law Joe Daniels and one grandson Ethan Warren, She is a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. Janet  has been a member of Ebenezer Baptist Church since 1980.

Amanda was born and raised in Pineville where she lives with her husband Michael and their daughters Chanda and Gracie. She graduated from Bell County High School in 2001. She is a member of the Ebenezer Baptist Church. Amanda has been with Brooks-Durham Funeral Home since 2009.

In the heart of Pineville, Kentucky, where compassion met dedication, two remarkable souls graced our lives. Jack Cornett and Arthur Jackson, from Brooks-Durham Funeral Home, have left an indelible mark on our community. Jack Cornett was a true pillar of strength and compassion. Arthur Jackson, a man of grace and empathy, was a source of unwavering support to those who sought his guidance during their darkest hours. These two exceptional individuals were not only colleagues but also friends who shared a profound connection. Together, they worked tirelessly to uphold the highest standards of their profession, ensuring that the families they served were met with dignity, respect, and warmth.

Jack Cornett was a life long resident of Pineville, a former Aerial B-24 bomber in WWII of the U.S Air Corp, He was married to Mert Cornett for 44 years until her passing in 1992. Jack retired from Sherwin Williams after 30 years and had been with the Funeral Home for 20 plus years as a funeral associate . He was a member of the First Christian Church and enjoyed going to the Seniors Citizens Center. Jack had two sons Jack Ed Cornett and Tim Cornett; four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Jack passed away May 8, 2017 at the age of 91, he is greatly missed by all.

Arthur Jackson was born and raised in Pineville where he currently lives. Arthur graduated from Lone Jack High school in 1974 and began working at the funeral home June 16, 1979 under Jimmy Durham and became a Kentucky  licensed  funeral director January 23rd 1986. Arthur is an Ordained Minister.
